It is just so cool to see how our Choklit mask kit have been taking South African tweens by storm! Choklit covered faces everywhere! Even some adults have joined in the fun for skincare!
To those folks who have sent us photos and videos of their awesome tweens trying out the Choklit mask and Face Glow, thank you so much!
So why the hype? Let me tell you how good it is to get a bit "dirty"... the DIY kit consists of 3 products: Choklit mask, Face Glow oil & the Silicone Mask applicator:
1) The Choklit mask consists of organic raw Cacao and organic raw Baobab powder. Yes, the stuff you drink in a healthy smoothie!
- It contains antioxidant properties called flavonoids, which is awesome for protecting the skin from free radicals.
- What is that again? It is skin-damaging molecules that is formed on your skin from pollution, to sun damage and stress.
- So this choklit explosion on your face puts back into your skin what bad environmental factors take out.
- Important note: This is 100% edible when taken by itself or mixed with water. But it is not edible if it is mixed with our Face Glow as lastly named is not edible.
2) The Face Glow oil... we are in love with this one! Consisting of Jojoba & Baobab oil, and a few amazing essential oils, it is nourishing and drenches the skin with goodness.
Some benefits of the ingredients:
- Jojoba oil is full of nutrients such as Vitamin E and B, as well as minerals like copper, zinc and chromium which all protects the skin. It also contains the highest levels of antioxidants.
- This Face Glow can naturally help deter microbes, which helps with the growth of bacteria on the skin. It is non-greasy, penetrates quickly. Some tweens with eczema raves about Face Glow! It soothes dry skin and can assist those with acne.
- Baobab oil contains all the omega fatty acids; Omega 3, Omega 6 and Omega 9. It even includes exotic fatty acids like Dihydrosterculic acid, Sterculic acid, Malvalic acid, Linoleic acid, Palmitic acid, Arachidic acid, Oleic acid, Stearic acid and then some vitamins; Vit A, E, D and K.... no wonder this is a SUPERFOOD ingredient!
- The essential oils include: cinnamon, patchouli, tea tree, rosemary & neroli

3) The Silicone Mask applicator:
Oh boy do we enjoy using this magic wand!

- It is super soft, so it is gentle on any skin.
- It is long lasting because it does not have bristles that needs to be replaced.
